Bradley Method®

What is the Bradley Method®?

The Bradley Method® is a comprehensive system of natural labor techniques in which the pregnant woman and her coach play an active part.  It encourages mothers to trust their bodies throughout their pregnancy and birth using natural breathing, relaxation, nutrition, and exercise.  We attract families who are willing to take the responsibility needed for preparation and birth.

The Bradley Method® has always stressed the importance of non-use of drugs in pregnancy and birth, unless a true complication warrants the risk.  We strive for 90% unmedicated births. Other methods do not come close to achieving this percentage.

We believe birth can be a wonderfully empowering, rewarding, and enjoyable event in your life – an experience to be treasured, not feared.

Whom is the Bradley Method® for?

  • Any woman about to have a baby and her partner
  • First-time moms and veteran moms
  • Home births and hospital births
  • Unmedicated and medicated births

Regardless of age, philisophical, financial, or marital status, The Bradley Method®‘s purpose is to help you and your partner achieve the best birth experience possible.

What Bradley Does:
